Instructions for peninsula connection option

The peninsula connection option is for connecting short peninsula benches in a perpendicular direction to another bench, usually a bench along the side of a greenhouse. This option eliminates the need for extra legs and is a permanent connection of one bench to the other. In the photo at the right, the vertical tube (left side) is part of the side bench. The horizontal (right side) tube is part of the peninsula bench. The tube of the peninsula bench extends about 2 ½” out thru the end of the bench and thru the side of the other bench. The two halves of the 1-bolt clamp are placed above and below the 2 tubes and they are clamped together.

 Note:

  1. The tube of the long side bench should be placed in the 3rd mesh in from the outside edge of the bench.
  2. The tube location in the peninsula bench may have to be moved in or out by 1 mesh due to the location of some of the wire channels in the side bench.
